Branding, Visual Campaign Design
Break the Grid is a campaign raising awareness about the lack of BIPOC representation within Design education.
This project was done in a campaign design class where the goal was to develop a campaign that supported or opposes a social issue. My team & I researched our topic, determined the target audience, crafted an appropriate message.
Our campaign research led to a collaboration with the UC Davis Design Department’s DEI Committee to host a virtual meeting to hear the perspectives of BIPOC students in the department. Our proposal was presented to a panel of designers & we were encouraged to apply for grants to make our campaign a reality.
